Fresen, emerging from Colombia, unleashes his debut project – Bonk EP - on Inner Symphony. Intricate rhythms, an audacious sound palette, Fresen showcases confidence in his creations. Captivating audiences outside of Colombia, Fresen represents a new wave of artists finding their voices heard across the globe.

Texturally rich, ‘Bonk’ strikes the ear with metallic sounds and expertly designed programming. Mature restraint is displayed whilst offering plenty of adventure. Skipping hi-hats and a downward-stepping bassline serve as the hallmark for this stellar track.

Imagining itself reverberating around the dance floor, ‘Walking Slow’ captures listeners in a pulsing trap of hypnotic techno. Choirs and pads find themselves intertwined with the rhythms acting as a perfect balance of drive and composure.

Greater emphasis is placed upon the sensitivities of the original whilst never losing grasp of power on the ‘Walking Slow (Mental Order & Tom Othy Remix)’. The song evolves into panning, rolling hi-hats and syncopated synthesisers adding alternative complexities.
All three tracks serve as an indication of the exciting future of Fresen. A mature voice from a young producer. Deep knowledge is displayed in what makes dance music powerful. The Bonk EP with its two original tracks and one remix provide plenty to get excited about.
